Biographies:
 

Civic Award Honoring Deceased Members of Columbia Fire Company:

Bangor Area High School: Avery Schiavone - Throughout my four years at Bangor Area High School, I was actively involved in numerous student and athletic activities. I was on both the Lady Slaters basketball team and track and field team for all four years. I participated in various student activities such as student government, class cabinet, powderpuff, and yearbook. In the fall, I will be attending Quinnipiac University and was accepted into their 3+1 Communications Program, with a concentration in advertising. This intensive program will enable me to earn a Masters Degree in Communications by the end of my four years of study at Qunnipiac University.

Faith Christian School: Connor Brawley - While at Faith, Connor was involved with Student Council from Grades 7-12, serving as president his senior year. He was Class representative in grades 7 and 8, class vice president in grade 9 and class president grades 10 through 12. Connor also was a member of the National Honor Society from grades 10 through 12 and serves and NHS President in Grade 12. Connor was a member of the Basketball team where he served as manager from grades 9 to 11 and played and was team captain his senior year. He was a Co-Leader for Boys Bible Study in his senior year. His other school activities include Art and Yearbook grades 9 through 12, serving as Editor his senior year. His community service at First Baptist Church includes Tech Crew, Nursery worker, and Children’s Church worker. Conner was selected by Faith Christians Teachers to represent FCS at the HOBY leadership conference. His other accomplishments include Junior Management Team at Spruce Lake and the RSP program for the National Guard. Connor has enlisted in the National Guard and will begin his service immediately following his senior year.
